Working with the street children of Sihanoukville, Cambodia

While we appreciate the desire to assist the children of M'Lop Tapang, our organization does not accept volunteers frequently.  One of our primary aims is to strengthen the skills of the staff and rely less on expatriate involvement. For this reason, we ask that you take the following points into account before contacting us:

  1. All candidates interested in volunteer positions at M'Lop Tapang must provide: a full CV, 2 recent referees that we can contact independently with our child protection checks, copies of any relevant professional registration documentation and in most cases, a police record from their country of residence.
  2. Selected volunteers will be tasked to work with staff (not with the children directly) to provide specialized training, or will carry out a specific assignment designed to reduce the workload of the staff in an administrative capacity (research, reports, presentations).
  3. All candidates whose projects are approved will be required to sign and follow our 2014 Child Protection policy upon arrival at M'Lop Tapang.
  4. 1. All long term volunteers will need to sign a volunteer contract with TOR and will be supported and supervised by a senior MT staff at all times.

If you feel you have a positive and useful skill to offer the staff members of M'Lop Tapang, please contact us with your ideas at:
